2027 Stoneman Distinguished Alumni Award
Purpose:
The Stoneman Distinguished Alumni Award honors an alumnus or alumna for an extraordinary achievement one recognized nationally and/or internationally – or an individual who, over the course of a decade or more, has exemplified outstanding success in a chosen profession or outstanding service to society. I 2019, the award was named in honor of Katherine “Kate” Stoneman, who graduated from State Normal School in 1866 and helped to pave the way for women in education and law.
Criteria:
1.Nominee must be a graduate of the University at Albany.
2.Nominee must exhibit excellence in volunteer leadership and service to the University or AlumniAssociation.
3.Nominee may not be a current member of the UAlbany Alumni Association Board of Directors.
