For Feature Twirler, we invite you to reflect deeply on your journey and complete a cover letter that shares a unique story of how baton twirling has shaped your identity and your aspirations. Feel free to include any awards, titles, or goals you have achieved. Please include the following in your responses:
- Describe a specific, memorable moment in your twirling experience that profoundly impacted your personal growth. What challenges did you face, and how did you overcome them? How did this experience influence your approach to twirling and to life?
- Share a story about a time when you brought your individuality into a routine, performance, or practice, and how it made a difference for yourself or others. What aspects of your personality, values, or background did you express through your twirling?
- Reflect on your relationship with the Marching Great Danes Spirit Band—what does representing this group mean to you personally? How do your unique skills, perspectives, and experiences equip you to be the feature twirler and a spirit leader for the band?
