Thank you for your interest in staying on Empire Commons during your Connection Day. The cost for your stay will be $75.00 per room, per night, payable by credit card upon arrival.
(We CANNOT accept cash. The only other forms of payment we can accept are checks or money orders - payable to Empire Commons Student Housing Inc.)
Our on campus apartment-style accommodations feature air conditioning, a full-size bed in a bedroom, a furnished living room (no TV), and a kitchen. Please read below for details:
- Basic bed linens, and one towel, one blanket, and one pillow per person are provided.
- We strongly recommend you bring additional towels, blankets, and pillow to have a more comfortable stay.
- There are 4 bedrooms within the apartment, but only one bedroom is used for the duration of your stay.
- The other bedrooms will remain unoccupied during your stay.
- Additional rooms in the apartment are available for use for an additional $75 per bedroom, per night.
- Bedrooms: All Empire Commons bedrooms are singles. Each bedroom comes fully furnished, with a full-sized mattress and bed frame, a chair and desk, and a dresser. There is no television or telephone.
- Kitchens: are fully equipped with a full-sized refrigerator, oven, stove range, microwave, garbage disposal and dishwasher. A dining table, chairs and ample cabinet space are also provided. There is no dishware, drinkware or silverware provided.
- Bathrooms: All apartments have two bathrooms.
- Wireless internet access is provided.
- Air Conditioning: All Empire Commons apartments have air conditioning.
The buildings do not have elevators. If you need accommodation on the first-floor, please indicate that in the "Special Circumstances" box below.
Please note that registration for overnight accommodations is separate from registration for Connection Day. Available space for connection day does not reflect available space for overnight accommodations. If you change your connection day date, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate you for overnight accommodations for your connection day date.
To cancel your registration for overnight accommodations for a particular date, please notify University Apartments by emailing univapts@albany.edu. After notifying University Apartments of your cancellation, if you wish to register for overnight accommodations for a new date, you must complete a new registration form.
