About the project

Help us add a personal touch to our Admissions recruitment efforts by joining our “Postcards From Alumni” project. We’re asking alumni to send a few postcards to highly sought after high school seniors who have just been accepted to the University at Albany through our early action program. We’d like these students to make UAlbany their college choice and be part of the ever-growing Great Dane family!

How it works

We’ll provide the postage-paid postcards and some sample messages to get you started. All you need to do is write a brief personal note sharing your Great Dane pride and drop the postcard in the mail. Remember, most students are exploring other universities as well, so your note can truly make a difference!
- You decide how many postcards you’d like to send (in increments of 10).
- Cards need to be mailed to prospective students by February 28, 2026 (and remember — we'll provide the postage).
