    • Registration Policy:

It is the responsibility of the lead chaperoning teacher to register all attendees (including teachers, presenters, and observers) from their respective school. The school understands the costs associated with attending the Symposium and acknowledges payment will be made. Student attendees must have parental and school permission to attend the Symposium. Student attendees must complete the Permission Form.

    • Rules of Conduct:

Each attendee is expected to abide by the following:

      • Attendees are expected to be respectful of their peers, speakers, and other attendees, at this formal, educational event.
      • Should disruptive behavior arise, chaperones must address such disruptive conduct in the groups for which they are responsible. University staff will not be able to address disruptive behavior of attendees other than University attendees.
      • The University reserves the right to dismiss any attendee from the Symposium as necessary to continue the event.
        • Lead chaperones are responsible for arranging transportation of a dismissed attendee in their group.
      • The use or possession of alcohol, drugs or hallucinogens, in any form, will result in immediate dismissal of the attendee.
      • Student attendees must be chaperoned for the entire symposium by a teacher or other chaperone associated with their group.
      • Parents are welcome to attend, but may not serve as lead chaperone in charge of a group.
    • The high school principal will receive a copy of the registration and a request to confirm registration and payment. This must be completed for the registration to be confirmed.
