Marching Great Danes 2025 Commitment Form

By completing and submitting this commitment form, you understand that you are committing to being a member of the UAlbany Marching Great Danes during the Fall 2025 season.

You also recognize that before the 2025 fall semester begins, you need to communicate with your advisor and enroll in the course, AMUS 181 - Marching Band. Marching Band is offered as a 0-3 credits option. Expectations for participation are the same regardless of credit amount, so you can register for whatever best fits in your schedule.

You acknowledge that you must attend all rehearsals and performances associated with the ensemble, including any post-season games (in the event that the football team makes the playoffs, etc.).

The band's early move-in date for the fall is Sunday, August 17th. A full calendar for the season will be published over the summer.

For the drumline, we have a limited number of instruments and we will ask for video submissions to help us determine part assignments. No one will be cut from the ensemble.
