Request for Disability Accommodations in Field:
To request accommodations in field due to a disability, you must make a formal request by contacting the University at Albany Disability Access and Inclusion Student Services (DAISS) at (518) 442-5501 or daiss@albany.edu to schedule a meeting. The Field Office will only consider a request for accommodation in field due to a disability after receiving an official letter from DAISS. Upon receipt of such letter, the Field Office will evaluate whether or not the requested accommodations can be facilitated while maintaining the essential requirements of the field practicum course; student, field agency, and/or DAISS staff may be involved in this decision-making process. The Field Office will provide formal notification of its final decision regarding the request for accommodations in field.
