NSF I-Corp @ UAlbany Interest Form
The National Science Foundation's Innovation Corps (I-Corps™) program uses experiential education to help researchers gain valuable insight into entrepreneurship, starting a business or explore current industry challenges. The NSF I-Corps Program @ UAlbany can help you (1) explore the market need for your work, (2) fund development of an MVP, (3) strengthen the commercialization plan of your next grant application.
We offer a short 3.5-week program formatted for the busy researcher. Successful participation may make you eligible for a $50,000 NSF Teams grant (Learn more at https://www.nsf.gov/news/special_reports/i-corps/teams.jsp )
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Upcoming cohort dates will be announced on our website at https://www.albany.edu/economic-development/nsf-icorps
We ask the team member with the interest in actively pursuing commercialization to be the one to fill out this form. In many cases that may not be the PI. It may be a Ph.D. student, graduate student, post doc, alumnus/a or faculty member.
A staff member will contact you to discuss your project and whether it is right for the I-Corps program.
